About Richard

After my biblical training at the Francis Anfunsos School of Evangelism in Calgary, Alberta and Christ for Canada Bible Institute in Kelowna, BC, I ventured on to volunteer in inner-city urban missions work in Los Angeles where I was ultimately trained in Christian TV production. This professional career in media working in faith based organizations over 11 years in both in Los Angeles and New York was very rewarding in that it involved professional field production work along-side the various urban ministries with a final objective to see Jesus glorified and lives changed. It included being TV Department Head, Production Supervisor, Associate Producer, EFP Camera Operator, Studio Camera Operator and Lighting Technician. Programs and films produced in these organizations were aired throughout the USA, Canada, on various syndicated networks worldwide as well as theatre releases of feature films. All of these positions have given me in-depth knowledge in film, television and Christian ministry.

Upon moving back to Canada, I met and married Marjorie and for the past years have worked and continue work in commercial construction in Calgary.

Outside of our day jobs, Marjorie and I have been working on film projects, honing our skills in scriptwriting, starting a Christian entertainment company, El Elyon Entertainment Inc., and launching Salvation Studio House. Our passion and calling is to preach and teach the gospel using the arts as a medium for Jesus to be glorified.

About Marjorie

My career has primarily been in the non-profit community and evangelical circles. As a graduate of Christ For The Nations in Dallas, TX., I’ve not only had the opportunity to work full time in ministry in local churches, but had the privilege of being a missionary, project manager and facilitator in the beautiful nation of Argentina for eleven years.  My primary focus being to teach, train and raise up worship leaders across the nation. Liaising with international ministries, I was able to help co-found with other Argentineans, the Music School and International Worship Seminary in Buenos Aires. Hundreds of lives have been transformed and equipped through this vehicle. I was also worship pastor at a fantastic growing church, Jesús Es Rey, in the heart of the Patagonia in the city of Neuquén. Serving in conjunction with numerous other churches and ministries across the nation, it was beautiful to see the transformation in church worship ministries as they came to understand that they were not, “Christian entertainers” doing a gig or show, but “God worshipers”, not worrying about who saw them or the praises and accolades that would come their way, but only interested in seeing Jesus lifted up.

In returning to Canada, I worked in Christian Television in Lethbridge, AB, just over three years being the Guest Coordinator and periodic Co-Host of the anchor program. This experience gave me the general working knowledge of television both behind the scenes and in front of the camera, in assisting to produce over 500 – 1 hour daily programs.

Working in Canada's capital, Ottawa, was truly a privilege. I was the Legislative Assistant for Dr. James Lunney, MP for Nanaimo/Port Alberni for 6 months. Through this work, I was able to see the necessity for the church to pray for all those in authority over them as it says in I Timothy 2:2.

In 2007 I moved to Calgary where Richard and I met and married. Now we're living in Didsbury, and together with establishing Salvation Studio House, I've been working in the public sector in various home care capacities.
