My career has primarily been in the non-profit community and evangelical circles. As a graduate of Christ For The Nations in Dallas, TX., I’ve not only had the opportunity to work full time in ministry in local churches, but had the privilege of being a missionary, project manager and facilitator in the beautiful nation of Argentina for eleven years. My primary focus being to teach, train and raise up worship leaders across the nation. Liaising with international ministries, I was able to help co-found with other Argentineans, the Music School and International Worship Seminary in Buenos Aires. Hundreds of lives have been transformed and equipped through this vehicle. I was also worship pastor at a fantastic growing church, Jesús Es Rey, in the heart of the Patagonia in the city of Neuquén. Serving in conjunction with numerous other churches and ministries across the nation, it was beautiful to see the transformation in church worship ministries as they came to understand that they were not, “Christian entertainers” doing a gig or show, but “God worshipers”, not worrying about who saw them or the praises and accolades that would come their way, but only interested in seeing Jesus lifted up.
In returning to Canada, I worked in Christian Television in Lethbridge, AB, just over three years being the Guest Coordinator and periodic Co-Host of the anchor program. This experience gave me the general working knowledge of television both behind the scenes and in front of the camera, in assisting to produce over 500 – 1 hour daily programs.
Working in Canada's capital, Ottawa, was truly a privilege. I was the Legislative Assistant for Dr. James Lunney, MP for Nanaimo/Port Alberni for 6 months. Through this work, I was able to see the necessity for the church to pray for all those in authority over them as it says in I Timothy 2:2.
In 2007 I moved to Calgary where Richard and I met and married. Now we're living in Didsbury, and together with establishing Salvation Studio House, I've been working in the public sector in various home care capacities.
